Fraps – Info

Hello Gamers,

I thought I would share with you some information about Fraps. A digital video recorder for your computer that works prefectly with most video games. Developed by a company named Beepa, Fraps was designed to work with games first and foremost, it has built in FPS (Frames per second) support and you can assign any hotkey you want for recording or screenshots. It is great for bench marking or for any real time video capture like screencasting.

BATTLETECH: Mechwarrior – Kickstarter

Hey Gamers,

Today I have another kickstarter for you. Right now Harebrained Schemes is kickstarting a new game. This is a rebirth of the Battletech or as some of us know it as the Mechwarrior game series.

Can You Run It?

Hey Gamers,

Here is a nifty tool from system requirement labs, to check if your computer can handle running a certain game. I use this to check for compatibility with old games and even new titles. Its very simple and handy, you simply select the title or type it in and press “can you run it” let their java applet do its job and viola! Their systems will scan your computers hardware and detect if you can and how well you can run almost every PC game.

Minecraft Mods: John Smith Texture Pack – Info

Hello Gamers,

Today I have compiled info and pictures on the John Smith Texture pack for minecraft. This is my favorite texture pack and the one I use when playing minecraft. I love its old world feel and yet it reminds me of zelda and over great classic games without being too 8-bit. As a bonus it does come with a customizer tool, so you can add and change things with other texture packs to create that prefect look or feeling for your world.

Ever heard of Minecraft? I bet you have, this indie game is a mainstream sensation that has swept the gaming world and even turned non gamers into gamers. All due to the sandbox gameplay.

Pandora: The Opensource Console

Hey Gamers,

You may have never heard of the Pandora. It being a open source project. Designed by GP32x aficionados. Styled as both a portable computer and handheld game console. Thus giving it a huge range of uses especially when coupled with emulators, what exactly is in this Pandora’s Box? Apparently the Pandora is quite a powerful little machine and by little its really not much bigger than a Nintendo DS. Inside the Pandora you’ll find.

Windosill: Review

Hey Gamers,

I have a review for a Indie game to share with you today. If you just want a simple score go ahead and scroll to the bottom. This was a rather artsy indie game that I wasn’t very impressed with, a game isn’t a game without some real gameplay. Yet, it does have style and is very creative. So, it will appeal to some.

Dragon Age: Journeys – Review

Hey Gamers,

With Dragon Age: Origin’s already come and gone. Let’s take some time to remember this little flash game that came just before to introduce us to the world of Dragon Age. Bioware had released a short but sweet browser game to state our hunger.
